Enviromental Services
SSP have recently established a dedicated Environmental Services Team, built on the back of our successful track record of providing carbon, waste and energy management services to six PCTs. This structure has enabled our experienced staff to work together in developing a bespoke 'suite' of electronic systems designed to evolve and improve our service offerings which are described below.

Sustainability Implementation Management Platform & Learning Environment (SIMPLE) -
SSP are developing a new on-line environmental platform designed specifically with our clients’ needs in mind, as well as meeting QIPP Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) requirements. The platform will enable SSP to easily collect, collate, chart, analyse and manage environmental data from a range of sources, including automatic utility meter reading equipment and waste collection rotas. This data will be converted into carbon emissions and measured against organisation and site specific reduction targets. The Learning Environment will empower staff to make suggestions, share ideas and compare experiences regarding carbon reduction initiatives they have undertaken. Travel Carbon Footprint (TCF) - Through SSP's on-line system an individual can understand the carbon impact of their travel decisions by spending just one minute completing a survey. Responses are collated and charted at an organisation and site level allowing detailed analysis to be undertaken by registered organisation leads. Funding from the London NHS Travel Network has enabled us to provide the system to all London based NHS organisations for a year. Go>
Waste Issue Report or Enquiry (WIRE) Service
SSP's on-line tool is to be used by south west London NHS Trust members of staff, GPs or Pharmacies and waste contractors to make enquiries or report issues about waste management and for contractors to report defects more effectively, by completing this simple form...Go >
